Risk Management

If you were directly involved in an accident or incident involving an MCTS bus, you will need to report it to the MCTS Risk Management Department by calling (414) 937-3247 or emailing Risk_Management@mcts.org.

Please have the following information available:

  • Name, address and Date of Birth of all persons involved
  • Date and time of incident/accident
  • Location (cross streets) of accident
  • 4-digit bus number, route and a description of the bus operator
  • A contact number that accepts voice mail and/or a valid email address
  • Extent of property damage or personal injuries

A Risk Management team member will record your information and will send you a Notice of Claim form that you must fill out and return. Once we receive the completed Notice of Claim form, we will initiate your claim and forward your information to our third party administrator and they will contact you within 72 hours. All claims of damage or personal injury will be investigated through internal reports, police reports and bus audio and video for compensability.
