When an MCTS bus rider rode the Route 76 to take his daughter to her school one morning, he saw a car on 76th Street near Milwaukee Avenue in Wauwatosa cross into oncoming traffic. Within seconds, the car hopped the curb and started moving slowly toward a nearby elementary school. Without hesitation, the driver of that bus, Latanya S., stopped and ran to the car to help. Meanwhile, the rider called 911. He told the bus driver that she may well have saved someone’s life that day. Latanya said, “Anyone would have done the same.”
