Please note that this route runs during fall & spring semesters only. It does not run during the summer months.

The Brown Deer East Park & Ride Lot stop on Route 49U provides a connection to the Ozaukee County Shared Ride Taxi. The Ozaukee County Transit System's Shared Ride Taxi provides service to the general public, and door to door transportation for the elderly and disabled within Ozaukee County. Detour Route 49U (northbound only) due to Ramp Closure - April 15 (through Fall 2024)

April 15 (through Fall 2024): The Route 49U (northbound only) will temporarily use the I-43 exit 80 instead of the Brown Deer exit due to construction. Buses will use the exit 80 ramp and take Port Washington to Brown Deer on to regular routing during this time.
