How to Ride MCTS

1. Plan Your Trip

Getting around Milwaukee is easy when you plan your trip with us. Start by downloading the Umo app, using our trip planner or a partner site to find your route. Just tell us where you are and where you want to go!

2. Track Your Bus

With real-time bus tracking, you’ll know when your bus is coming so you can be ready to start your trip. You can track by bus stop, route number or even by choosing “near me.” We recommend being out at the bus stop at least 5 minutes ahead of when it is scheduled to arrive.

3. Pay Your Fare

Adult Regular Fare $2/Ride    Reduced Fare $1/Ride

Paying is easy with WisGo. Simply create an account in the Umo app to use our digital pay option or visit one of dozens of our retail locations to purchase a WisGo card. If you prefer, cash is always accepted (no change is given, so please have the correct amount for your trip).

And as an added bonus, riders who create an account and pay using WisGo can also take advantage of our frequent rider, fare capping benefit.

4. Enjoy Your Ride

Sit back and relax. Be sure to pay attention to the announcements indicating that your stop is coming up. Once you hear it mentioned (or you’re a block or two away), simply pull the cord above to let the driver know that the next stop is yours!
