Route 23 to State Fair
SOME Route 23 buses will operate between downtown Milwaukee and the State Fair Transit Center at Gate 4. Not all Route 23 buses will serve State Fair, look for the Route 23 bus with a State Fair destination sign. Other Route 23 (Fond du Lac-National) buses will operate the regular route.
Other local routes: Route 56 (Greenfield Ave.), Route 67 (N. 76th St.-S. 84th St.) and Route 76 (N. 60th-S. 70th St.) stop near State Fair Park entrances. And, don't forget there are many local routes that connect to these routes and the Route 23.
Regular fares are in effect for Routes 23, 56, 67 and 76 which are $2.25 for adults; and $1.10 for children (6-11), seniors (65 and older) and individuals with disabilities with proper ID.
